Hey Streets community!

We’re thrilled to announce the release of Streets App Version 1.7.0! This update brings exciting new features that enhance user privacy, streamline ticket management, and simplify tax handling for event curators and vendors. Here’s a closer look at what’s new:

Block and Report Users and Content

Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. With Version 1.7.0, all users can now block and report other users and content. This added layer of privacy ensures that your experience on Streets remains enjoyable and free from unwanted interactions. To block or report a user or content, simply tap the report or block button on user profiles, event, or product pages.

Tiered Ticket Functionality for Event Curators

We understand that managing ticket availability can be a hassle. Inspired by Freakquency Events DC, who hosted their first event on Streets during DC Pride / Memorial Day weekend, we’ve introduced tiered ticket functionality. Now, event curators can set up ticket tiers that automatically go on sale once the lower-tier tickets sell out. This makes ticket management a breeze, allowing you to focus on what matters most—planning an unforgettable event.

Automatic Sales Tax Calculation for Event Curators and Vendors

Handling sales tax can be a headache, but not anymore! With our new feature, sales tax for events and products is automatically calculated based on the location. Streets takes care of this for you, making pricing more dynamic and one less thing for you to worry about. Whether you’re selling tickets or products, we’ve got you covered.

Highlight: Freakquency’s Heatwave Event

We’re excited to highlight Freakquency’s new event, Heatwave, launching today! The event will be held on July 19th at Phantom Lounge in DC. Tickets are available now on Streets, so make sure to grab yours before they sell out!

What’s Next for Streets

We’re always listening to your feedback and looking for ways to improve. In our next update, we’ll be making more enhancements around handling guest lists for events based on curator feedback. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
