A Game-Changer for Event Curators and Vendors

Hey there, Streets community! We have some exciting news to share. After listening to your feedback and putting in a lot of hard work, we’re thrilled to introduce our new Message Center. This feature is here to make communication for event curators and vendors smoother and more effective than ever before.


Why We Needed an Upgrade

Before this update, the messaging system on Streets was pretty limited. Event curators and vendors could only send in-app messages to users who favorited or saved their events/products or notifications to event attendees. This made it tough to stay in touch with a broader audience, especially past event attendees.

We heard from Jonathan Moore, the owner of Moore Rich Entertainment in DC @moorerichent, and Terry Thompson, the owner of Freakquency Events @freakquencyeventsdc (and our very first onboarded curator!). After speaking to them, they told us that other event management apps made it really hard to contact past attendees and grow their engagement lists without paying extra. So, we knew we had to do something about it.


Say Hello to the Message Center

Thanks to your feedback, we’ve revamped our messaging feature and created the Message Center. Here’s what it offers:

More Dynamic Messaging

You can now send messages that are more than just plain text. Include a subject, a message, and attach media like images, photos, and files. Plus, you can highlight featured content such as events, products, or URLs right within your message.

Advanced Audience Selection

The Message Center lets you choose multiple audiences for a single message. You can reach out to favorites of events/products, attendees/buyers of events/products, followers, and even people on a guest list for a specific event. Mix and match these audiences to connect with a wide range of people in one go.

Beyond the App

We didn’t stop at in-app messages. If an attendee or buyer purchased a ticket online and opted to follow the seller, they’ll get your message via email. This way, you can be sure your message reaches everyone, whether they’re using the app or not.

Growing Your Reach

The new Message Center is all about helping you grow your contact list and keep your audience engaged. Whether you’re an event curator or a vendor, these new tools will help you stay connected and make your events even more successful.
